Addressing Common Skin Concerns

As we age, our skin naturally loses collagen and elastin, leading to wrinkles, sagging, and uneven texture. Factors such as sun exposure, genetics, and lifestyle choices can accelerate these changes, making it difficult to maintain a youthful complexion. At SER Aesthetics, we offer advanced skin treatments that target these concerns by stimulating collagen production and promoting skin rejuvenation.

Personalized Treatment Plans

The number of treatments required varies from person to person. Some individuals see significant improvement after just one session, while others may benefit from a series of treatments spaced over several weeks. During your consultation, we will develop a customized plan tailored to your skin concerns and goals.

Comfort & Recovery

Your comfort is our priority. Before treatment, we apply a topical anesthetic to ensure minimal discomfort. Patients typically experience mild swelling, redness, or tenderness, which subsides within a few days. Small treatment points may also crust over and flake off naturally. Most patients can resume normal activities the next day, with precautions such as moisturizing and avoiding direct sun exposure for at least one week.

Introducing

InMode Morpheus8

Morepheus8 is a minimally invasive resurfacing treatment that combines microneedling procedures with radiofrequency technology to rejuvenate cells and soft tissue deep within the skin’s epidermis and dermis layers. The microneedling portion of the procedure creates tiny micro-wounds into the skin that allow the radiofrequency energy to penetrate deeper into the skin. This stimulates an increase of collagen and elastin production allowing for a softer, smoother, and more youthful complexion.

Morpheus8 can also be combined with other treatments to enhance the outcome of skin resurfacing treatments.

How many treatments will I need

Most clients see noticeable improvements after just one session, but for optimal results, a series of 3 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart is typically recommended. The exact number may vary depending on your skin concerns, goals, and treatment area. We'll tailor a plan specifically for you during your consultation.

Is it painful

Morpheus8 treatments are generally well-tolerated. We apply a topical numbing cream before the procedure to minimize discomfort. You may feel a warming sensation and some pressure from the microneedles, but most clients describe it as manageable. After the treatment, your skin may feel like a mild sunburn for a day or two.

Is there downtime?

Downtime is minimal. You may experience redness, mild swelling, and tiny scabs for 1–3 days. Most clients return to normal activities within 24–48 hours. We’ll provide clear aftercare instructions to ensure the best healing and results.

Is Morpheus8 safe for all skin types?

Yes! A major advantage of the Morpheus8 is that it’s safe for all skin tones, including darker complexions. Unlike some lasers, it carries very low risk of hyperpigmentation when performed correctly by a trained provider.

FAQs

Find answers to commonly asked questions about Chemical Peels.

What are Chemical Peels?

Chemical peels are cosmetic treatments that improve the appearance of the skin on the face, neck, or hands. They involve applying a chemical solution to the skin, which causes it to exfoliate and eventually peel off. This process reveals smoother, brighter, and more youthful-looking skin.

Are Chemical Peels painful?

Most people experience a mild burning or stinging sensation during the chemical peel treatment. However, the intensity of the sensation varies depending on the type and strength of the chemical peel used. Your provider will ensure your comfort throughout the procedure.

How long is the recovery period?

The recovery period after a chemical peel depends on the depth of the peel. Superficial peels typically have little to no downtime, while medium to deep peels may require a few days to a week for the skin to fully heal. Your provider will provide detailed aftercare instructions.

Can Chemical Peels treat acne?

Yes, chemical peels can be an effective treatment for acne. They help to exfoliate the skin, unclog pores, and reduce inflammation, resulting in clearer and smoother skin. Your provider will assess your skin condition and recommend the most suitable type of chemical peel for your acne concerns.

How often can I get Chemical Peels?

The frequency of chemical peel treatments depends on various factors, including the type of peel used and your skin's response to the treatment. Generally, a series of peels spaced a few weeks apart is recommended for optimal results. Your provider will create a personalized treatment plan for you.
